She makes more money singing covers in nightclubs than making her own album (tried b4 but gave up when producers ask her 2 come up with the cash). The local recording industry is 2 small 2 make money. Most local artist have 2 make it big overseas before making it big here. Nana isn't ready 2 take that risk. She currently enjoys performing regularly 2 what she knows 2 be an appreciative crowd down at her regular venues. __________________________________________________ | |

I'm a filipino myself and have been in Singapore for almost 8 years now, but I don't see any really good filipina singer here. Most of my friends (white people plus filipinos by the way) think that Nana is one promising talent, and these people have been around the world. Singaporeans are known for karaoke-induced and off keyed singers, that to see a singer like Nana, was like a difference in itself. But alas, she is not well known as she only sings in clubs and pubs.
