wontonsoup4life ::: Favorites 2007-12-20 02:45:32 People in general need to push for better reproductive education, not just for teenage girls. Due to parental neglect to talk about reproduction or religious views/stances and whatnot, some teens get deprived of this valuable information. __________________________________________________
wontonsoup4life ::: Favorites 2007-12-20 02:45:24 And who's to say that protection and prevention is only in the control of the female? Males do have to choice to refuse unprotected sex. It's not a difficult equation. "Sperm + egg = fetus, plus or minus teenage mother. Should probably leave right now." This is assuming that people are properly educated about reproduction. __________________________________________________
xxcj92 ::: Favorites 2007-12-17 20:47:17 its not that hard... an if u wanna have sex, then use protection an spermicide... its not that hard to do... just take that into consideration teeenage girls... __________________________________________________
xxcj92 ::: Favorites 2007-12-17 20:46:46 Look if your a teen an get knocked up an get pregnate as a result, its you fault... not anyone elses... it was your choices that lead to getting pregnant... if your askin for help from the government because you made a/many bad decisions, then you basicaly saying im not going to take responsibility for your actions... if you feel you need special benefits because you were stupid enouf 2 get pregnant, hen think before you have sex... __________________________________________________
NortonYorksterdam ::: Favorites 2007-12-14 02:16:10 The majority of first pregnancies throughout history have been teen pregnancies. Why doesn't society promote marriage and make it workable for a young mother to go to college? We can build intercontinental missiles and Google can spy on Chinese democrats but America can't have day care in community colleges? Cause that would be socialist right? __________________________________________________
etsneroj ::: Favorites 2007-11-28 11:52:07 Society needs to resist this kind of change. Teenage preganancy is not as inevitable as our "biology." Remember that teenage preganancy rates are dramatically lower for people of higher income and education. And we all share the same biology. Rather than throw up our hands, why don't we raise expectations and educate people. __________________________________________________
NortonYorksterdam ::: Favorites 2007-11-14 22:16:59 If schools can't handle a young woman having a baby, then the schools need to change. Biology is a fact of life, young people are made to have babies. Society needs to change to welcome young mothers. __________________________________________________
anhtran ::: Favorites 2007-11-08 12:07:52 If you wanna stop abortion then you need to change the way people in society precieves it. Nowadays, a teenage mother would have to drop out of school, work a low paying job and basically have no future. You need to provide free or afford health care, day-care and give individuals a better chance to improve their status in society. Just because your a teenage parent shouldn't make it impossible for you to presue a good career. __________________________________________________
simon6071 ::: Favorites 2007-11-03 23:57:25 Watch fierce abortion debate under video "Dir en grey-Mazohyst of Decadance". __________________________________________________
apballard ::: Favorites 2007-10-25 20:48:32 I like his way of addressing this subject the best so far from the Democrats. What I don't understand is this: Where in the Constitution does is say women are protected and have the right to kill the baby in their womb? Does the Constitution protect the right of the girl in the womb? __________________________________________________
existaslove ::: Favorites 2007-09-22 14:48:43 he's so right, with childcare, prenatal care, postnatal care available to every women - with universal health care and childcare, which kucicinich understands and advocates - with sex education and available contraception to all - all will reduce abortion. as will a clean environment, same sex marriages, and how can one be pro-life and pro-war (killing people) and pro-killing people (death penalty) __________________________________________________
vigorbrasil ::: Favorites 2007-08-29 10:21:47 I hope US voters perceive how wonderful it would be for the whole world to have this gentleman as president of the US. If he doesn't make it to that post, I would love him to try for the office of prime minister in the UK. Would he be qualified to do so by marriage? If not, maybe his lovely wife could try? __________________________________________________
Crushingsitar ::: Favorites 2007-08-24 02:21:04 Its refreshing to hear from someone who understands the responsibility of being a president and the interconnectedness of important issues. __________________________________________________ |
