alliewobbles ::: Favorites 2007-11-14 17:18:05 I'm so glad that the SAG and WGA are uniting on this front. We need the writers! Give them what they deserve. __________________________________________________
crystalfirejh ::: Favorites 2007-11-14 17:20:17 I'm glad to see all those actors out in support. __________________________________________________
GrissomLovesSara ::: Favorites 2007-11-14 18:02:31 Go John Amos. Love him. Of course, Billy and Gary are looking hot as usual. Sarah Silverman said it the best though. I mean hello! Pay them __________________________________________________
heine71 ::: Favorites 2007-11-14 22:48:01 If the stars picket at Universal Studios Hollywood, is the Universal Hollywood theme park still open to the public - especially for theme park fanatics? __________________________________________________
Corellianjedi2 ::: Favorites 2007-11-15 02:55:54 Solidarity! __________________________________________________
ScornedbySara ::: Favorites 2007-11-15 03:47:14 What's really going to be shameful is when you writers get your bitching way and then, next summer, when the Screen Actors Guild expects you to do the same for them, you end up looking like even worse divas than you already are. 'Wait, the writers got the compensation they asked for, but now they're striking again for the actors?' Pssh. Garbage. __________________________________________________
spidrawebster ::: Favorites 2007-11-15 05:19:18 The folks who are posting on YouTube complaining how "spoiled" the writers are probably think that the people taking their order at McDonald's make as much as Wolfgang Puck because it's all food service, after all. __________________________________________________
PunkyBrewsterPower ::: Favorites 2007-11-15 06:14:32 I support the WGA. More power to all of them for fighting for not only what is right but for what they are entitled to. Power in numbers! Hang Tough WGA! <3 Mandy __________________________________________________
TheClarkeReport ::: Favorites 2007-11-15 12:05:34 GO WGA! Call the Feds and tell them to open the books. They will talk! __________________________________________________
jumboband ::: Favorites 2007-11-15 14:49:26 I wouldn't mind these people going on strike if they actually wrote something worth watching. If the usual stuff I see on TV and at the movies is the best they can do, well, they're grossly overpaid. __________________________________________________
SCfilmgirl10 ::: Favorites 2007-11-15 15:17:55 For those who claim the writers are spoiled, you have to understand that the film industry isn't as easy as some people think. Unless you are a studio exec, you don't always have a job. Writer, actors, directors, etc. aren't always garanteed work. They are looking out for their families. Also, they make money from residuals, so they should also make money from the internet stuff. It's the studios are who keeping all the money, so you aren't really justified when you get annoyed by the writers __________________________________________________
bgp913 ::: Favorites 2007-11-15 15:29:48 HAHAHA, I think Sean Astin's interview got edited down a bit. 'Sean, you're not worthless. You just need to think more positive.' Stay the course, WGA. This is the future and I'm behind you, for as long as it takes. __________________________________________________
IdahoDigital ::: Favorites 2007-11-15 17:25:18 I would support the WGA if they didn't try to force every other writer NOT in the WGA to also strike or else be banned for LIFE from the WGA if the ever wanted to join. What a sleazy tactic. Leave the sleaze for the management and stay above that. The strength of your case should stand on its own, and does in my opinion. __________________________________________________
beaty811 ::: Favorites 2007-11-15 21:45:23 It's called a Union, not a Dowhateveryoufeellikeion. Sometimes you make a good case, but the people who pay you don't listen. So you have to go a step further. How sleazy is it to ban someone who is jeopardizing the case, throwing the case out the window, pissing on it? __________________________________________________ |
