You really understand how much this award meant to him towards the end of his moving speech when he gives the award a brief kiss. Gaines was a giant among men and all horror fans owe a bit of gratitude to him and the entire staff of EC for laying the groundwork for the future comics, films etc. that we all grew up with. |
