Description: Sharon Marie Tate was a Golden Globe-nominated American actress. During the 1960s she played small roles in television, before starting her film career. She appeared in several films that highlighted her beauty, and after receiving positive reviews for her comedic performances, was hailed as one of Hollywood's promising newcomers. Tate's celebrity status increased following her marriage to the film director, Roman Polanski, and fashion magazines featured her as a model and cover girl. Sadly, Tate was murdered, along with four others, by followers of Charles Manson, at her Benedict Canyon home in Los Angeles, California. She was eight and a half months pregnant at the time. It was a tragedy that none of us will ever forget. I've edited and put together this tribute to the tune of "Fire and Rain" by James Taylor.
